Sarah Olivier, Team Head Coach
SSHD AAA U9 Black

Sarah has played at the highest levels of women’s hockey. She is an NCAA Division I alumni from Cornell University, where she played for four years; including her senior year where she served as team captain. After graduating, Sarah played in the National Women’s Hockey League representing the Ottawa Raiders for two seasons.
Sarah first started coaching during her time at Cornell with university hockey schools and proceeded to get more involved with coaching in the mid-2000s. She served as an Assistant Coach with the Nepean Wildcats Midget AA team in 2005-2006 and traveled to Chicago to be an Assistant Coach for the USA Hockey Southwestern All-Star Team in 2005. Sarah lived and worked in Yellowknife, NWT for nearly 10 years and was actively involved in building girls’ hockey in the region. During her time in the north she served as the Assistant Coach for Team NWT in Canada Winter Games in 2007 as well as in the Arctic Winter Games in 2008.
Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge though her own elite playing and coaching experiences. She has seen firsthand the positive impact hockey can have on a player and what possibilities playing the sport can provide. She is looking forward to sharing her knowledge with our athletes and we are very fortunate to have her join our professional SSHD AAA coaching team.
