Julie Knerr 

Julie was born in Pierrefonds, Quebec, and joins the growing SSHD AAA Hockey Club for the 2021 season as a Team Head Coach, Skills Instructor, and Senior Player Development Specialist, fresh from three seasons as an NCAA coach at Syracuse University (D1). Julie returned to the ‘Cuse after a very successful playing career where she served as team captain in her senior year (2014-15). Additional highlights from Julie’s hockey career include working as both an assistant and head coach at the Selects Academy in Rochester New York. Her addition to the SSHD AAA Club demonstrates yet another step towards providing our players and families with the very best development experience possible. Julie will not only serve as a coach and head instructor, but be available to mentor our athletes and speak freely to players and parents alike regarding her NCAA hockey journey.
