Jared Hebbs, SSHD AAA Coach

Jared is an experienced former hockey player and current coach, who has been involved in player development in hockey schools and skills clinics in the Ottawa area for 25 years. During his playing career Jared played Junior B with the Winchester Hawks and attended the OHL Ottawa 67’s training camp in 1996-1997. He was also affiliated with the Nepean Raiders Junior A team. He continued his playing career in college with the Humber College Hawks and proceeded to be a professional golfer.

In addition to being heavily involved with different player development programs over the years, Jared has been the Assistant Coach for U10 and U12 levels with Nepean Minor Hockey. He has been serving as the Head Coach with Myers Snipers 2009 Spring team since 2019 and has been running his own skill development programs since that time as well. Jared believes in developing players through strengthening their technical skills with constructive feedback while pushing the pace. He has experience of coaching and instructing players of several different ages and skill levels, including a number of players at the competitive and elite levels.

We are very excited to welcome Jared to SSHD AAA coaching team. He will personally serve as the Head Coach of the U11 (2010) Black Elite team for spring 2021.
