Hybrid checking is permitted at the D2 level.
2009 (U15)$1880.002 x 12 & 1 x 15 minute stop time periods (75-minute games).

Body checking is permitted in this division.

All games are played using extended length blocks (no 1-hour games in any divisions). Depending on size and makeup, some divisions MAY be split into exclusive groupings, at the sole discretion of the tournament committee to ensure the best competitive balance possible.

All divisions are a five (5) game minimum. Out of town teams must be prepared to start as early as 8 a.m. on the first day of the tournament (May 10).

Hybrid checking is defined as that which is intended to separate player from puck. Unnecessary roughing will be penalized at all levels under regular “roughing” rules. Additionally, open-ice hits where players are moving in opposite directions are not permitted and will be penalized as “roughing”.
