U10 (2014) & U11 (2013): $1566.37 + HST ($1770.00 Total)

U12 (2012) & U13 (2011): $1632.74 + HST ($1845.00 Total)

U14 (2010 & U15 (2009): $1738.94 + HST ($1965.00 Total)

U16 (2008) & U18 (2006-2007): $1765.49 + HST ($1995.00 Total)

The Annual Capital Mid-Season Showdown presented by the Stittsville Rams is back for its 18th season.  This very popular annual tournament represents the best chance of the season for Ottawa area ‘B’ competitive teams (and 3rd tier teams from out of town) to compete against some great competition at the best facility for tournaments anywhere.
 
Whether you are new to this event, or returning as one of the over 850 participating teams from the first 17-years of this tournament, you are sure to have a blast!

Additionally, the Bell Sensplex is pleased to offer free admission for all spectators for the duration of the Capital Mid-Season Showdown.
 
Make sure to sign up as early as possible to avoid disappointment, as several teams do end up on the waiting list each season.
 
With 4 pads (3 NHL, 1 International), a full-service restaurant overlooking the tournament action, and a friendly group of staff and volunteers looking after every detail, this tournament should be your best of the year!

Though the Bell Sensplex is the headquarters of this tournament, teams may also play at other local facilities including our state-of-the-art facility, the Richcraft Sensplex.

We are proud to offer a special tournament participant rate to the Ottawa Senators game. Interested teams must book with Ottawa Senators group sales account manager Shannon Jones at [email protected] or by phone at 613-599-0377. Tournament scheduling will accommodate those group tickets purchased through these official channels. Please note that ticket sales will be limited and sold on a first come first serve basis to accommodate tournament scheduling needs. Once the NHL 23-24 schedule is released, all tournament websites will be updated to reflect any home games available.

HEO Minor Sanction #: 23-002

Format: 

Teams will participate in three round-robin games, followed by quarters or semis for those teams who qualify. This tournament is for tier III competitive (rep) teams consisting primarily of B, A, AE, MD teams from Ontario and the USA, and Quebec BB. No ALL-STAR or SELECT level teams will be admitted into this tournament, as per HEO Minor regulations. *Note that AE, MD, A, and B teams will compete together. Body checking will be permitted at the U14 levels and up.

Period Lengths: U10 & U11: 2 x 10, 1 x 12 minute stop time periods; U12 & U13: 1 x 10, 2 x 12 minute stop time periods; U14 & U15: 3 x 12 minute stop time; U16 & U18: 2 x 12, 1 x 15 minute stop time

Body checking is permitted at the U14 levels and up.

All teams must be prepared to play as early as 8:00am on Friday November 24th.
