Jesse Hale, Head of Hockey Development, OSHP & Club Head Coach, SSHD

Jesse is the current Head of Hockey Development for the Ottawa Senators Hockey Programs; responsible for the content and delivery of all skill development programs taking place at the three Sensplex facilities. In this role he is also responsible for the hiring, training and development, and performance of all OSHP instructors.
Prior to relocating to Ottawa in July 2019, he worked several years as Manager of Development for Hockey Alberta in Red Deer where he was responsible for player and coach development across the province. He has coached from minor hockey to university levels. He is currently coaching with the Myers Automotive 2007 AAA team, and last season he was the Head Coach of the Red Deer Minor Midget AAA where he captured a league championship. He is a High Performance 1 certified coach and has worked in delivering countless Hockey Canada courses.
Jesse is dedicated to creating a positive development environment that pushes each player individually to new heights as they take the next step in their minor hockey journey, while maintaining an atmosphere that sees everyone wanting to come to the rink to work hard and have fun.
As the Club Head Coach for SSHD AAA, he is responsible for overseeing the coaching of all teams and will serve personally as the Team Head Coach for the 2007 and 2008 teams. He will develop on-ice content and in collaboration with the SSHD Senior Player Development Specialist and Club Director, be responsible for the implementation of all club philsophies (including skill development, team systems and style of play, and more).
