OSHP September Skates is a brand new program running Saturdays at both the Bell and Richcraft Sensplex. Sessions will feature mostly high pace, full-ice skating, puck control and conditioning drills, with and without pucks. Players will receive less instruction than traditional skill development programs, as this one is designed to keep players moving. Simply said, it’s more about the repetitions and getting a “good skate” in, than it is about being taught key points of each skill being demonstrated. Players will have fun as they use this program to get their hockey legs back and keep them as they head towards their 2020-21 hockey season.
This program is currently not running, stay tuned for future dates and times!
All of our hockey programs require full equipment to be provided by the parent/guardian. No child shall participate without: Hockey skates, CSA- approved helmet (with cage), neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, jock or jill, shin pads, hockey gloves and a hockey stick. Mouth guards are optional.
