Head of Hockey Develoment, Ottawa Senators Hockey Programs – Sensplex Facilities
Born in Lieksa, Finland, Hanna is the current Head of Hockey Development for the Ottawa Senators Hockey Programs; responsible for planning and leading ice sessions for thousands of players from beginner to elite and for training and developing OSHP instructional staff. Hanna works primarily with competitive and elite athletes in our high performance programs, including Power Edge Pro and more.
Hanna has been with the Senators organization for over four years in both part-time and full-time positions coaching and instructing our athletes. She is one of the top instructors in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
Prior to beginning her career as a professional coach and instructor, she played in the National Women’s League in Finland and represented her country internationally at the World U18 Women’s Championships in 2008 and as a member of Team Finland in 2010 and 2011.
As a Head Coach for SSHD AAA, she is responsible for player recruitment and evaluation, delivering weekly elite skill development for all players, and she will serve personally as the Team Head Coach for multiple teams.
