The 16th annual edition of the Capital House League Championships is presented by the host Kanata Minor Hockey Association and will be headquartered at the state-of-the-art Bell Sensplex, where parents can enjoy the action from the comfort of Stanley’s Restaurant above two of our four ice surfaces. Year after year, this tournament features some of the best and most diverse competition available at the house league level, regularly featuring an extensive waiting list at many divisions. Apply now to guarantee your team the best opportunity for acceptance.

This year’s tournament will feature the following format, due to the changes to Hockey Canada regulations for the Novice age group:

  • Novice Tiers 2: 2 half ice scrimmages, and 2 competitive skills competitions
  • Novice Tier 3 and 4: 3 half ice scrimmages, and 1 competitive skills competition

Team tournament scheduling will accommodate group ticket purchases. Please note that ticket sales will be limited and sold on a first come first serve basis to accommodate tournament scheduling needs.

The Bell Sensplex features plenty to compliment the action on the ice, including:

  •  Hobbins Hockey Shop

The Bell Sensplex is the headquarters for this tournament, however teams may play games at other local facilities.

Teams must be prepared to play as early as Friday, January 10th at 8:00am.
