Category: Spring AAA Hockey – Boys: Minor Novice (2012) – Minor Bantam (2006)

As the continued leader in hockey programs and tournaments anywhere, our unique division-tiering strategy will be employed to ensure all teams the best possible experience, value and competition.

Divisions will be tiered using one of the following methods:

  • Separate divisions of play (ex. D2 and D3) for the entirety of the tournament (round robin and playoffs). Teams should indicate if they are a D2 or D3 team when they apply (e.g. mostly Tier I players, or mostly Tiers II/III players)
  • Separate divisions of play for the playoff rounds. In this format teams will find their own way into a division of play for the playoffs, based on their round robin record.
  • One division of play for all teams should that be determined as the best option.

Minor Novice (2012), Major Novice (2011), Minor Atom (2010), Major Atom (2009), Minor Peewee (2008), Major Peewee (2007), Minor Bantam (2006): $884.96 + HST ($1,000.00 Total)

Games Per Team: 5 GAME MINIMUM for all teams!

Novice, Atom divisions,: 3 X 12 minute stop time periods; Boys Peewee and Bantam: 2 X 12, 1 X 15 minute stop time periods. Boys Major Peewee and Minor Bantam WILL feature BODY CHECKING. All games are played using extended length blocks (NO 1-hour games in any divisions). Depending on size and makeup, some divisions MAY be split into exclusive groups (tiers or simply groupings), at the sole discretion of the tournament committee.

Important note regarding the Major Peewee division: Please note that bodychecking will be permitted at the Major Peewee level; however, all teams will be expected to have conducted a formal bodychecking clinic for their players. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a safe tournament for all of our teams.
