Capital Sports Management Inc (CSMI) oversees the development and execution of a variety of skating and hockey programming at the Bell Sensplex and Cavanagh Sensplex (in the west end of Ottawa) and the state-of-the-art 4-pad Richcraft Sensplex (in the east end) for both youth and adults. Whether you have a three year old who has never been on skates or you are a retiree who is looking to get on the ice on a weekly basis in one of our adult skill clinics, we will have a program that meets your needs and ability.

Enhance your decision making ability under pressure with the NEW Ultra Speed Program!
This program builds upon the wildly successful and sold out Ultra Speed summer hockey camp which ran for the first time ever in 2018. It will challenge players to perform skills and make decisions at ultra-high speeds to help them react to ever-changing game conditions each and every shift this season. This program is available exclusively at the Bell Sensplex.
Edgeworks Morning Sessions
Take control of your edges during this 8-week morning program that breaks down the fundamental components of skating efficiency, power, balance, and agility, combined with advanced hockey-specific station work which will enhance the skills of any player! All session led by our Head of Hockey Development or Lead Hockey Instructor, and one of our lead figure skating instructors.
Evening Adult Skill Development
Develop the skill set needed to be a well-rounded player, with a progressive focus on skating technique, followed by shooting, puck control, and passing.
All sessions will feature a controlled scrimmage at the end of each class to illustrate key points in game situations (while stopping play where necessary).
Adult Evening Modified Goaltending Academy
One-on-one goaltending instruction designed to improve positioning, mobility, and technique, followed by incorporation into drills.

Morning Adult Skill Development
Start off your mornings with a combination of our popular Performance & Power Skating and Complete Player Development programs! In this 12-week program, participants will focus on all aspects of key hockey skills such as skating, shooting, puck control, and passing, followed by a controlled scrimmage similar to our latest Practice & Play program.

Shooting & Puck Control
Develop the ability to shoot with accuracy, quickness and power, the confidence to maintain and control the puck in every game situation, and the stick-handling techniques needed to take your game to the next level.

Complete Player Development
Become a great all-around player with a class designed to hone the fundamental skills needed to succeed this season! The Complete Player Development program will teach proper skating habits - designed to make you a more powerful and efficient skater - while also giving you thorough instruction on the proper methods of stick-handling, puck control, shooting, and passing.

The Ottawa Senators Hockey Programs Specialty Clinics offer players the opportunity to hone one fundamental skill in a 60 to 90-minute (as indicated below) session with our best instructors. Featuring three hours of daily on-ice skill development, the camp will include drills designed to improve shooting accuracy and power, enhance puck control abilities, and teach girls to capitalize on net-front opportunities (particularly compete levels and scoring off of rebounds).
Girls Only Scoring Clinics

IP Fundamental Skills
The IP Fundamental Skills program is dedicated to teaching the foundational skills needed by all hockey players, in a once-per-week format designed to supplement their minor hockey program as an IP or Junior Fundamentals player.
