The Ottawa Senators Summer 4-on-4 hockey leagues presented by Villanova Dental Studio feature hockey as it was meant to be played: free wheeling and fast-paced, with limited whistles and no faceoffs. The goal of the league is to encourage creativity and give each player time to develop new skills, in an atmosphere that prioritizes fun.

The league is going into its eleventh year and has consistently grown because of the phenomenal on and off-ice product delivered to participants. Not only do players receive 20 fast paced games (plus playoffs), they are also provided with many other great league and program related benefits (such as player-of-the-game prizing, a year-end league banquet, an Ottawa Senators 4-on-4 jersey, and more).

Team rosters are made up of nine skaters and one goalie, and set-up as evenly as possibly using the information provided by parents/guardians as to what level each participant played in the past season. Balancing moves are then made throughout the first four weeks, to ensure that each team is equal in skill and age. There are no coaches in the 4-on-4 league as we want the participants to think outside of the box and be as creative as possible with their decision making. No body checking is allowed at any age level so that everyone, regardless of size, can focus on the enjoyment of the game.
