The BCC returns for its 21st year, hosting over 200 boys and girls, house league and competitive teams, at the Atom and Peewee level.

The Bell Capital Cup is more than just a hockey tournament.  It is a festival celebrating the game of hockey in Canada’s Capital, with teams from across Canada, the United States and around the world.  

Since it’s inception, more than 11 different countries have been represented at the Bell Capital Cup, including: Austria, China, Finland, Germany, Russia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Korea, and Japan. This season, 2 teams from Finland and one team from China have already confirmed their participation!

This year’s tournament takes place from December 28th, 2019 to January 1st, 2020, with each division running over a three day period. We offer divisions for all skill levels for Atom and Peewee hockey players (2010 to 2007 birth years).  Here are some great features to look forward to this year:

  • All championship games will be played at Canadian Tire Centre, home of the Ottawa Senators!
  • All competitive divisions will be play over a maximum of 3 days and are guaranteed 4 games
  • Exclusive access to group tickets to see the Senators play Dec 29th against the Devils
  • Option to participate in the Canadian Tire Skills Competition
  • All Star games at the AAA divisions
  • Free admission to Esso FanFest carnival which involves pin trading with international teams, hockey themed games, and more.
  • Trophies and awards that are second-to-none!

Ottawa Senators Ticketing

We are proud to offer a special tournament participant rate to the Ottawa Senators game pending NHL Scheduling.  Interested teams can contact Ottawa Senators group sales account manager Brent Cartwright at [email protected] or by phone at 613-599-0247 for more details. Team tournament scheduling will accommodate group ticket purchases. Please note that ticket sales will be limited and sold on a first come first serve basis to accommodate tournament scheduling needs.Format: 

All Competitive divisions feature a 4 game minimum, while house league teams will play a minimum of three games. Each division’s schedule will range over a maximum of three days.

Game Lengths: Boys AAA, Girls AA – 75 minutes, Boys AA – 70 minutes, Boys A, Girls BB – 65 minutes, Houseleague – 60 minutes
